Why don’t dog shit and urinate together?

Because the dog's urinary and digestive systems do not run at the same time, they are carried out separately, and the dog has the habit of marking the territory through urine; so they will not pull urine and poop together. Dogs are unwilling to pee and poop in the same place because they are related to their habits and are normal.

First of all, dogs are mammals, which are very different from other animals such as birds. Their urinary and digestive systems are carried out separately, so there will be cases where urine and feces are not excreted at the same time.

Secondly, dogs' living habits may also cause them to be excreted in the same place. Usually, dogs will mark their territory by the smell of urine, so if the owner walks the dog regularly, they will choose familiar areas to urinate.

Finally, dogs usually choose hidden grass or places with cover when defecation, because they feel that they are more likely to be attacked when defecation and want to defecate in a safe area.
