reporter Rich Fay reported that Manchester United plans to rent midfielder Toby Collier out of the loan in the last few weeks of the summer transfer window.

21-year-old Collier has been included in the summer's loan list as Manchester United hopes to bring in another midfielder by the deadline. Hull City is currently a favorite to sign Collier, and Sheffield also expressed interest in him on Wednesday. As Hull City is currently subject to transfer restrictions, Manchester United cannot obtain any loan fees from the deal. It is understood that Hull City is full of confidence in signing Collier, although he is still training at Manchester United. Manchester United hopes Collier will get more opportunities to play next season and thinks loan to the Championship is a suitable option. Last season, Collier made 13 appearances for Manchester United's first team, 10 of which came after Amorin joined in November.

While Manchester United decided to loan Collier from outside, they are also continuing to pursue Brighton's Carlos Baleba. Amorin hopes to introduce a mobile midfielder by the deadline, and the 21-year-old Baleba is considered an ideal candidate. It is reported that Baleba is willing to join Manchester United this summer, but he is unlikely to force his departure from Brighton and may stay there for another season.

Brighton made it clear that it would not sell Baleba in the current window unless the offer meets their valuation. Preliminary estimates that this price may be around £100 million, but this may be the total value of the entire transfer package, and the initial transfer fee will be lower.

Last month, Collier expressed his openness to summer loans in an interview, but emphasized that his primary goal is to be the future midfielder of Manchester United: "First of all, I want to stay here and play as many games as possible for Manchester United, and I will sit down with the head coach and senior management to discuss what is the best plan for me. Whether it is staying here or renting, I will choose the one that is most conducive to my development. My ultimate goal is to play as many games as possible here, hoping to start every week. So, I will sit down and talk with them. Of course, I feel like I want to stay and play as much as possible. To be honest, I haven't thought too far yet. I'll see how things are going in the next few weeks and then have these conversations. But as you said, there is not much time in the football world, we need to achieve results and push the team forward. That's where we are now working."
