According to Roma, Rome and Liverpool reached an agreement on loan to Zimikas, and their next goal is to finalize George's transfer as soon as possible.

Masala has been looking for a wing substitute and finally chose the English club's redundant staff. Zimikas, 29, served as Robertson's substitute last season, making 29 appearances and contributing two assists, one of which was in the Champions League match against Milan.

Liverpool initially wanted to profit from his transfer, but the player's own willingness to leave and Marsala's pressure prompted the club to agree to the loan deal. It was a good deal for Roma, as the team didn't want to spend €15 million to sign a player who is about to turn 30, and Zimikas is expected to go to Roma for a medical examination today and sign a one-year contract.

Now, Roma still needs to complete a signing on the offensive end. Although Sancho still has the potential to be a target on the last day, Masala's main goal is to finalize George's transfer as soon as possible. Currently, Chelsea’s negotiations are becoming more and more active, and Bologna’s B-Domingos and Monaco’s Enbolo are also potential candidates, with the latter priced at about 20 million euros.

In addition, Masala is also dealing with Milan's swaps on Dovbik and S-Jimenez. Dovbik has agreed to join the Ross and Blacks, and now Masala and Tare are working hard to convince S-Jimenez to join the club where his friend Dybala is located.

Yesterday, the seventh new player in the summer, 20-year-old Jan Chouukovsky also officially joined. The central defender comes from the Polya youth training camp in Warsaw, Poland. After switching to Warsaw Legia in 2022, he has played in the top leagues in Poland and UEFA competitions.
