According to the Sun, Envanery trained with England's beach football star Aaron Clark to keep himself in shape.
Envaneri is about to sign a new long-term first-team contract, although Chelsea and other European giants have shown interest in him. After making a breakthrough last season, he started 16 times in various events and scored nine goals, hoping to further consolidate his position in Arteta's long-term plan in the upcoming season.
In addition, he has the opportunity to join the England national team coach Tuchel's World Cup roster next year. Therefore, he did not relax his training this offseason. After a brief break after helping Lee Casley-led England U21 win the European Championship, Envanelli immediately returned to training in warm weather and trained with Clark. Clarke, 34, has been coaching at Arsenal’s youth training camp since July 2011, witnessing Envanelli’s growth in the youth training camp since he was nine.
Clark also played for the England Beach Football Team and served as ambassador. He has made 159 appearances for the team since March 2013 and has scored 200 goals as of November 2024. Clarke remains an important part of Arsenal’s youth development team, and has recently participated in the club’s talent discovery program, cultivating some of the most successful graduates.
Clark said in September 2023: "I coached the U9 echelon and now I'm in charge of the U16 echelon, young people who are about to turn professionals. I've witnessed kids like Saka and Smith Rowe grow from nine to ten to first-team players. This allows me to make better decisions because I've been watching them for ten or eleven years. I can now better tell the next generation what I think is the best direction."
In a mid-season video with Clark, Envanery highly praised the impact of Clark, saying: "I want to improve myself, like my strength, I'm working hard, and flexibility training, which certainly helps prevent injuries. The core training we do is also testing the mind. Aaron is constantly testing me and giving I have some scenarios to help me, which gives you a better advantage on the field. "
Clark believes more players should be training on the beach and hopes to convince Arsenal youth camp to include beach training in the course, saying: "The problem is the facilities in England. Arsenal won't spend an hour or two to go to the beach, but now coaches are more willing to try beach football, especially among young players because they feel it will produce better football players."
"My next challenge is to find a facility to take the kids there and they will love it. Beach running has higher physical requirements, whether it's rehabilitation or pre-season training, which significantly improves their physical fitness and physical fitness, and beach footballers are better at skill than regular footballers. From beach to grass, it will make the game easier."
