There must be a reason for dogs to drip urine. The key to finding the reason why the dogs drip urine is first found, and then symptomatic treatment is given, so that the dog can solve the difficulties as soon as possible. Regarding this matter, based on my experience in raising pets, the following will analyze the reasons that will cause such situations to dogs and their relative countermeasures:
1. Drink too little water every day
When the dog at home has been dripping urine, the pet owner should first check its recent dietary combination to see if the ingredients are too dry and hot, or the salt content contained in the dog food is too high, and the dog does not like to drink water.
If there are these reasons, it is recommended to feed the dog some soft foods with a light taste and low salt that are beneficial to urination, such as millet soup, pork ribs porridge, etc. You can also use warm water and goat milk powder to make dog food for the dog. In addition, it is necessary to increase the amount of water the dog drinks every day, let it drink more water, and take it out to carry out moderate fitness exercises to promote the human body's metabolic circulation system.
2. Urology and Men's Problems
If the dog still has the problem of dripping urine continuously after experiencing the countermeasures mentioned, it may be that some problems occur at the urogenital system level. For this matter, if the dog has a good mental outlook and only has urination drips in a short period of time, or has sorted it out after the operation, the pet owner can conduct an observation based on feeding the dog with urinary and menstruation. If the actual effect after taking the meal is not ideal, or the dog's condition has become serious, it must be taken to a professional pet hospital for medical examination and treatment as soon as possible.
3. Kidney stones
When a dog keeps urinating, pet owners should pay attention to check whether the dog has other symptoms, such as: the dog often urinates without urinating, and has a constant upset mentality when urinating, wanting to squat and sit, and constantly spinning, etc. The main symptoms are that the dog is likely to have kidney stones.
For this matter, the pet owner should send the dog to the hospital for inspection as soon as possible. After it is clear, the pet doctor will use surgical treatment to remove urinary stones that are harmful to urination, so as to prevent the dog from urinating for too long, resulting in bladder rupture, and even further damage to kidney function.
In addition, if the dog is a female dog and is in the estrus period, or is suspicious during the period, it will also cause dripping urine. Pet owners don’t have to worry too much about this situation. This is relatively normal. The dog will recover after passing this stage.
