According to the TrendForce statistics, since the fourth quarter of 2023, as the inventory sales of downstream consumer markets have come to an end, and HBM and server DDR5 products account for most of the original DRAM factory's production capacity, it has caused other DRAM products to be frustrated, pushing the overall DRAM price into a rapid increase, further stimulating the DRAM module to replenish inventory and increase purchasing efforts. In 2024, the global DRAM module market overall revenue reached US$1.33 billion, an annual growth of 7%, reversing the 28% recession in 2023.

In the second half of 2024, the purchasing power of demand side has become fatigued after the high price of DRAM modules. The module factory has also failed to transfer the high particle costs to the module channel. Sales scale has subsided. Some module factories have increased the proportion of server disassembly and particle purchases by increasing the cost competition.

TrendForce pointed out that 2024 was driven by market recovery, and all module factories were full of rain and dew, which generally showed annual growth. However, due to the different market areas and operating strategies, the revenue growth of each module factory has diverged.

From the TrendForce statistics, the world's top five memory modules accounted for 81% of the overall revenue in 2024, and the top eight accounted for 83% of the overall revenue. Dragon head manufacturer Kingston (Kingston) accounts for 66%, ranking first, but its harvest is falling behind that of its peers, mainly reflecting the weak demand in the consumer market in the second half of 2024. Kingston continues to adhere to its high-level brand positioning, and ensures that the profit margin is the first strategic direction.

The explosive growth of each module factory mostly comes from new businesses

ADATA (Vision Technology) used the low-priced inventory reserved in the early stages of the second and third quarters of 2023 to greatly expand its shipment scale in the first half of 2024, bringing an annual harvest of 20%, ranking second. Kimtigo continues to expand its domestic and foreign channel layout, actively expands its market rebound during the second half of 2023, masters market recovery machines, and has a 10% harvest in 2024.

Team Goup (Ten Markets) focused on the electric competition market, increased its penetration on North American e-commerce and agency channels, and expanded its acceptance of corporate server DRAM projects, promoting a significant growth of 59%, and its ranking rose to fourth place. Patriot Memory (Bodi Technology) follows the market's recovery through a diversified layout of consumption, electricity competition and industrial control, with a 12% growth in its capital, ranking fifth.

Innodisk focuses on the industrial control market and actively deploys edge AI product lines. Through cooperation with the NVIDIA platform, it expands its investment in the new market and expands its revenue scale, ranking sixth. Apacer (Apacer) is deeply engaged in the industrial control market, and is actively raising its manufacturing to Indian cooperative partners to improve its operational flexibility. Its revenue scale has slightly recovered, ranking seventh. AGI (AGI) has just entered the Amazon Japanese platform and quickly expanded its brand awareness and sales scale in the retail channel, ranking eighth in terms of revenue growth, with the highest among the top eight businessmen.
